Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Vakyam AI, a text-to-speech API, dashboard, website, and related services operated by Recruitr AI Technologies Pvt Ltd, based in Chennai, India.

By creating an account, buying credits, accessing the API, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use Vakyam AI for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Vakyam AI. If you are under the age required to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction, you may use the service only with appropriate parent, guardian, or organizational consent.

You may sign in using email login or Google login. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account and API keys.

You must provide accurate account information and promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account, credits, or API keys.

Vakyam AI lets you submit text and receive generated speech output through our TTS API. You are responsible for the text, prompts, inputs, applications, and end uses connected to your account.

You must not use the service to violate laws, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, impersonate people without permission, create deceptive or harmful content, abuse the infrastructure, reverse engineer protected systems, or bypass rate limits and access controls.

Vakyam AI may offer prepaid credits for API usage. Credits are consumed based on the usage rules, pricing, and metering shown in the product or agreed with you.

Unless we state otherwise in writing or applicable law requires it, purchased credits are not refundable, transferable, or redeemable for cash. We may correct billing or metering errors in good faith.

Taxes, payment processing charges, currency conversion fees, and bank charges may apply depending on your location and payment method.

We aim to provide a reliable service, but Vakyam AI may change, pause, degrade, or become unavailable because of maintenance, security incidents, infrastructure issues, third-party service failures, or product changes.

We may apply usage limits, rate limits, model changes, queueing, abuse controls, or access restrictions where needed to protect the service and other users.

We own Vakyam AI, including our software, models, systems, documentation, branding, and service infrastructure. These Terms do not transfer our intellectual property rights to you.

As between you and us, you retain rights you have in the text you submit. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may use the generated speech output for lawful purposes.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. We do not use analytics tools or advertising trackers, and we do not store audio data generated through the API by default.

You may stop using Vakyam AI at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or other users, fail to pay amounts owed, or use the service unlawfully or abusively.

After termination, provisions that by their nature should continue will remain in effect, including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms.

Vakyam AI is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.

You are responsible for reviewing generated speech output and deciding whether it is suitable for your use case, audience, jurisdiction, and compliance obligations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recruitr AI Technologies Pvt Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill.

Our total liability for claims related to the service will be limited to the amount you paid to us for Vakyam AI in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India will have jurisdiction over disputes related to these Terms or Vakyam AI.

We may update these Terms as the product, pricing, legal requirements, or business needs change. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the service, by email, or by updating this page.
